A lid member (113) of a battery case has a protruding section (223) that protrudes downward in an up-down direction from the bottom, and encloses an insertion section of a collector terminal member in the circumferential direction via a gasket. The apex of the protruding section is provided with an inside tapered surface on the insertion section side in an inside-outside direction, which is perpendicular to the up-down direction, an outside tapered surface on the opposite side to the insertion section side, and a top surface between the inside tapered surface and the outside tapered surface, said top surface being perpendicular to the up-down direction. In a cross section that includes the axis center of the insertion section, the area of a first imaginary area (AZ) enclosed by a first line segment (A0) that is the cross section of the inside tapered surface, a first imaginary line (A1) that extends to the bottom side from the top of the first line segment (A0), and a second imaginary line (C) that extends in the inside-outside direction from the cross section of the top surface, is smaller than the area of a second imaginary area (BZ) enclosed by a second line segment (B0) that is the cross section of the outside tapered surface, a third imaginary line (B1) that extends to the bottom side from the top of the second line segment (B0), and the second imaginary line (C). |
