Disclosed are a method, a device and a system for detecting performance of a layer three virtual private network. A first node creates an operation, administration and maintenance (OAM) example of the first node according to OAM configuration information set by a user, the OAM configuration information is transmitted to a second node through a border gateway protocol message, the second node creates an OAM example of the second node according to the OAM configuration information, and the first node transmits an OAM message to the second node and/or receives an OAM message from the second node through the OAM example of the first node, so as to perform OAM detection. By means of the present invention, OAM configuration process is simplified, labor is saved, and consistency of double-end OAM configuration can be ensured. In addition, configuration delay of such a dynamic configuration mode can be ignored, close restraint of configuration sequences is omitted, and OAM detection accuracy can be improved. |
