METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PIPE-LIKE METALLIC MATERIAL HAVING TRANSVERSE HOLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a pipe-like metallic material having transverse holes capable of simply forming the pipe-like metallic material in a required external diameter as well as capable of simply forming the transverse holes with required accuracy and no deformation in the transverse holes during the production process. SOLUTION: The right and left parts 1A of a plate 1 is bent inwardly to form a pipe-like shape respectively. The right and left parts 1A of the plate 1 is previously bent respectively, and the holes 2 are formed at specified places of the bent right and left parts 1A to provide the transverse holes 2 which opposes to each other in a communication state in the transverse direction perpendicular to the axial direction. The right and left parts 1A of the plate 1, where the right and left parts 1A being bent and holes 2 being formed, is bent inwardly to place the external edges of the right and left parts 1A opposite each other respectively to produce a pipe-like metallic material K having transverse holes 2.
