PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction-heating melting furnace, in which even a heavy weight molten metal 20 can be simply taken out of a crucible 1 in a short time. SOLUTION: The side wall of the crucible 1 is constituted by arranging peripherally a plurality of electroconductive segments 8 in a manner of being insulated from each other, and the diameter of the opening of the crucible is expanded gradually from the bottom to the top. The crucible bottom-wall is made openable. An induction heating coil 11 is provided on a outer peripheral side of the wall to heat inductively the metal 20 held in the crucible 1. A push-up mechanism 46 is provided to push up the molten metal 20 in the crucible 1 from the bottom.
