The present invention relates to a variable solid-liquid separation and a water purification device capable of effectively respond to the change of inflow water amount, concentration, shape of contaminants, and short term impact inflow load by the inflow of initial rainwater. The variable solid-liquid separation and a water purification device comprises the following: a water tank which includes an inlet and an outlet, and separates solids and liquid by inflow water with the solids staying inside the water tank; a precipitate collection unit which collects precipitated solids from the bottom of the water; a coagulant injection unit which injects a coagulant capable of coagulating the solids suspended in the water into floc; a pressurizing and dissolving unit which pressurizes water and air to dissolve the air into the water; and a floating matter collection unit which collects floating solids on the surface of the water.
