The apparatus has an introducing unit for introducing to be treated liquid in a tank (1). An upper scraper (15) of a surface brings a floating material toward a collector (11). A lower scraper (16) brings the elutriated material, which rests on a bottom (3), toward an evacuation zone (26). A funnel shaped structure (19) includes an upper surface, on which the elutriated material is placed. The upper surface is swept by the lower scraper. The structure is placed on a base plate (18). The zone is arranged radially in the structure to collect the elutriated material before the evacuation.
