A utility knife comprises a shell body (11, 12) with inner space (13), a blade carrier (16) for carrying a single blade, a latch piece (7) for latching the single blade on the blade carrier (16), and a spare blade library (14) for storing more than one spare blade. The blade carrier (16), the latch piece (7), and the spare blade library (14) are arranged in the inner space (13). The blade carrier (13) is arranged to be capable of moving between a first position and a second position, when the blade carrier (16) is located at the first position, the blade carried by the blade carrier (16) stretches out of the shell body, and when the blade carrier (16) is located at the second position, the single blade carried by the blade carrier (16) is received in the shell body. The spare blade library (14) is connected to the shell body (11, 12) through an axis pin (111), and is arranged to be capable of pivotally rotating out of the inner space (13), so as to fill in the spare blade. |
