An embodiment of the present invention provides a downlink data transmission scheduling method and device. The invention relates to the technical field of communications, and seeks to effectively reduce downlink control channel overhead. The downlink data transmission scheduling method comprises: sending basic scheduling information to a user equipment (UE); receiving a scheduling request submitted by the UE, said scheduling request carrying at least one scheduling parameter selected by the UE according to the basic scheduling information; determining whether an adjustment is required for the selected scheduling parameter in the scheduling request; sending, on the basis of the adjustment determination, a scheduling request response to the UE, said scheduling request response indicating whether an adjustment is required for the selected scheduling parameter in the scheduling request; if it is determined that there is a scheduling parameter requiring an adjustment, sending to the UE an adjusted parameter value for said scheduling parameter requiring an adjustment. The present invention is applicable in wireless communication systems such as 3GPP LTE. |
