摘要 Provided is a machining device having little movement between machining points, few limits on machining operations of an articulated robot, and little movement by a worker in teaching work. The present invention comprises: an articulated robot having a catch tool for catching work at the distal end of an arm, the orientation of the articulated robot being controlled in accordance with a teaching operation; and a machining unit disposed in a fixed part positioned within range of the arm of the articulated robot. The machining unit is characterized in comprising: a machine tool having a copying part against which the machining object part of a workpiece caught by the catching tool of the articulated robot is pressed in accordance with orientation control by the articulated robot; and a floating mechanism for allowing the machining tool to slide in the workpiece pressing direction.
