<p>The present invention provides an encoding method and apparatus. The method comprises: according to the number of levels of cascaded Polar encoding, dividing to-be-encoded input data into M parts, wherein the M is the number of the levels of the cascaded Polar encoding; performing Polar encoding on an information bit of each level of the Polar encoding in sequence level by level, to obtain data after the Polar encoding is performed on the input data, wherein each part of the data obtained through dividing and an output bit of previous-level Polar encoding are together considered as the information bit of next-level Polar encoding. Embodiments of the present invention may improve performance of a Polar code.</p> |
