Provided are a network convergence-based charging method and device, which relate to the technical field of communications, and solve the problem of a more complicated process when services which belong to different networks are respectively charged by different devices after network convergence. The method may comprise the specific steps of: a radio network controller receiving a network access request; according to the network access technology, configuring network access identity information about a terminal to be accessed; sending to a core network device the network access identity information so that the core network device conducts charging on the terminal to be accessed according to the network access identity information and a corresponding charging rule, the core network device storing charging rules corresponding to all the network access identity information; and according to the network access technology, establishing between the radio network controller and the core network device a corresponding communication channel for transmitting terminal data to be transmitted. The present invention can be applied to network convergence-based charging. |
