摘要 <p>The present invention discloses a method for driving a liquid crystal display device. In particular, the present invention relates to a method for driving a liquid crystal display device having a touch panel which reduces power consumption of the liquid crystal display device which implements touch sensing driving through separately driving by separately driving one frame into an image display section and a touch sensing section. The method for driving a liquid display device having a touch panel according to a desired embodiment of the present invention includes: a step for deciding a sensing clock start point for each touch sensor formed on the touch panel; and a step for detecting a touch coordinate corresponding to the decided sensing clock start point during discharge of a touch sensing signal by applying the touch sensing signal to the touch sensor. Therefore, the present invention can reduce power consumption compared to the past and minimize overflow failure, not by performing touch detection by generating a sensing clock from a discharge start point of a touch sensing signal, but by performing touch detection by generating a sensing clock from an end point of discharge when a touch is not generated.
