The purpose of the present invention is to inform a user viewing an optical viewfinder which operation member is being operated. An optical subject image (85) is displayed on the optical viewfinder. Camera operation members comprise a shutter speed dial, exposure dial, command lever, and the like, and touch sensors for detecting that said operation members have been touched are provided to the operation members. When the user touches the shutter speed dial, an image (91) representing the shutter speed dial that the user touched appears on the optical subject image (85).
