The present invention provides apparatus for manufacturing an organic carbon source using food waste leachate which increases the efficiency of wastewater treatment by producing a product for treating wastewater and raising a C/N ratio in the process of removing nitrogen because the present invention generates a high-quality organic carbon source containing microorganisms useful for treating wastewater using food waste leachate generated during the pretreatment of food waste. The apparatus for manufacturing an organic carbon source using food waste according to the present invention comprises a corpuscle treatment device for filtering solids and consistently supplying raw water containing fine particles by introducing the raw water of pretreated food waste leachate; a flow adjustment tank for containing the raw water introduced from the corpuscle treatment device, and discharging and removing oil separated from the raw water; a microbe culturing tank for supplying a specific amount of the raw water in the flow adjustment tank and culturing useful thermophilic microbes by adjusting the hydrogen ion concentration of the raw water; and an organic carbon source fermentation tank for fermenting the raw water into an organic carbon source by supplying a culture medium containing a large quantity of microbes generated from the microbe culturing tank while supplying a specific flow quantity of the raw water in the flow adjustment tank, wherein each of the flow adjustment tank, the microbe culturing tank, and the organic carbon source fermentation tank includes an autothermal thermophilic aerobic digestion (ATAD) device for rapidly decomposing organic matters by keeping the contained organic matters at a temperature of 45 to 65°C suitable for the activities of the thermophilic microbes, removing nitrogen without nitrification by ammonia stripping, and reducing the quantity of sludge.
