The present invention relates to a method for providing an SD memory control interface and an SD memory therefor. The SD memory is provided with an SD control module, a storage module and N chip modules where the N is more than or equal to 1. The storage module stores an information file for storing the information on the N chip modules provided at the SD memory, and N access files for accessing the N chip modules. The SD control module forms an interface with an application of a host where the SD memory is attached or detached, allows the information file of the application to be referred to by using the interface, and forms a logic channel among the application and an n^th chip module wherein the application accesses an n^th access file among the N access files by referring to the information file where n is more than or equal to 1 and less than or equal to N.
