Provided is a travel drive device (11) for a dump truck (1) that comprises: an axle housing (12) that is attached to a vehicle body (2); a wheel-mounting tube (18) that is rotatably provided to the outer peripheral side of the axle housing (12); a disk-holding tube (49) that is provided to the outer side of the axial direction of the wheel-mounting tube (18); a brake disk (56) that is attached to the disk-holding tube (49); and a brake device (44) that provides braking to the brake disk (56). The disk-holding tube (49) is configured from a cylindrical body (50) that is attached to the wheel mounting-tube (18) and a plurality of disk-mounting legs (51, 52, 53, 54) that are provided to the cylindrical body (50). A plurality of U-shaped protrusions (58) are provided to positions that correspond to each of the disk-mounting legs on the outer peripheral side of the brake disk (56). Each U-shaped protrusion (58) comprises a groove (58B) that is fitted to a disk-mounting leg so as to sandwich the tip of the disk-mounting leg from the peripheral direction.
