CONTACT IMAGE SENSOR AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF

A contact image sensor comprises a light transmitting plate, a sensor substrate, a photosensitive portion, a lens, and a framework, and is further provided with a planar reflector. The planar reflector is located in the framework. Light emitted by a light source is radiated on the planar reflector at a certain angle by adjusting a relative position and an angle of the planar reflector and the light source. The planar reflector enables light to reflect, and the reflected light penetrates the light transmitting plate at a designed angle and is radiated on an original manuscript. The light radiated on the original manuscript is reflected back to the light transmitting plate by the original manuscript. The reflected light enters the lens and is collected on the photosensitive portion. Further provided is a method for controlling a contact image sensor.
