<p>The present invention provides a method for starting a data card and a data card, and relates to the field of communications. The method comprises: enumerating a data card connected to a main device as a composite device, the composite device comprising a virtual keyboard device; generating, according to a WEB server address of the data card, an instruction of opening a data card configuration webpage; and controlling the virtual keyboard device to send to the main device the instruction of opening the data card configuration webpage, so that the main device opens the data card configuration webpage. By enumerating the data card as the virtual keyboard device so as to control the main device to open the data card configuration webpage, the present invention solves a problem that a software program must be installed on the side of the main device in order to use the data card and open the data card configuration webpage, thereby achieving the beneficial effects of saving time of a user, facilitating use by the user, and improving user experience.</p> |
