ELECTRIC ANGLE GRINDER HAVING OPEN-AND-LOCKED IN FEATURE

An electrical angle grinder having an open-and-locked in feature, comprising a housing (6), an operating rod (4), and a dial (1). The operating rod (4) is connected at both ends thereof to the housing (6) and is for use operating a switch part (5) of the electric angle grinder. A gap for use in mounting the dial (1) is formed on the operating rod (4), while the dial (1) is arranged within the gap. A rotary pin (3) is bored onto the dial (1). A portion of the dial (1) is exposed outside of the operating rod (4), while the remaining portion of the dial (1) is arranged within the housing (6). The portion of the dial (1) arranged within the housing (6) is connected to an extension rod (1a). A protruding block (1b) is arranged on one side of the extension rod (1a) while an engaging part (1c) is arranged on an end part of the other side of the extension rod (1a). A support block (4a) is arranged on the inside of the operating rod (4). An extension column (6a) is arranged on the edge of the side of the dial (1) where the engaging part is arranged. An indented part (6a-1) is arranged at an end of the extension column (6a). When the dial (1) is in a closed-and-locked up state, the protruding block (1b) presses on the support block; when the dial (1) is in an open-and-locked in state, the engaging part (1c) engages onto the indented part (6a-1). The present invention allows for reduced occurrence of misoperation, for reduced operation burden, and for increased operation efficiency.
