The invention concerns a fastening part for fastening a shield to a bodywork element of a motor vehicle, comprising a wall (12) and a longitudinal rim substantially perpendicular to the wall (12). The fastening part comprises a sliding element (18) held under the rim by holding elements (16) integral with the wall (12). Said sliding element (18) can slide between a mounting position and a blocking position and comprises stops (181) facing the rim. The latter comprises protrusions (141) on a face opposite the sliding element (18). The sliding element (18) is arranged such that: . - in the blocking position, the stops (181) are located under the rim (14), bearing on and below the protrusions (141) of the rim (14), . - when shifting from the mounting position to the blocking position, the stops (181) move the rim (14) by a predefined distance. |
