The embodiments of the present invention relate to the technical field of wireless communications, particularly to a method, system and device for switching, which are used to solve the problem existing in the prior art that in a network architecture of an E-UTRAN, the risk of communication interruption when UE conducts switching is increased due to the fact that both the switching frequency and the number of switchings of the UE are greatly increased. The method for switching provided in the embodiments of the present invention comprises: user equipment receiving a notification for switching from a macro base station; and the user equipment maintaining the control plane at the macro base station, and switching some or all bearers in the user plane to at least one other base station. Because the embodiments of the present invention reduce the number of times for user equipment to switch the control plane, in the case that both the switching frequency and the number of switchings of the UE in a network architecture of an E-UTRAN are increased, the risk of communication interruption when the UE conducts switching is reduced.
