The prosthesis has a hemispherical articulation head (1) fixed at an anatomical glenoid cavity and co-acting with a bearing and sliding surface of an insert that comprises a hollow humeral rod (4) fixed in a diaphyseal humeral. The rod comprises an internal round section to retain a pin (5) of a complementary section with turning ability. An end of the pin is shaped to directly form the insert co-acting with the head, where the pin is made from polyethylene. The shaped end of the pin consisting of the insert extends beyond the rod on an external side to form a support edge.
