<p>The present invention is applicable to the communication field, and provides an emergency communication method and apparatus based on Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (MBMS) technology. The method comprises: receiving information for establishing an air interface bearer sent by Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (E-UTRAN/UTRAN), the information indicating that the air interface bearer has the highest scheduling priority which can not be stopped, and indicating that a user equipment monitors the air interface bearer in real time; establishing the air interface bearer with E-UTRAN/UTRAN, and monitoring the air interface bearer in real time; and receiving emergency information sent via the air interface bearer by E-UTRAN/UTRAN. With the embodiments of the present invention, the user equipment receives information for establishing an MBMS communication channel sent by a network equipment, and monitors the MBMS communication channel in real time. Because the user equipment monitors the MBMS communication channel in real time, the seconds delay time of the MBMS channel can be overcome so as to make the communication based on the MBMS technology satisfy the delay requirement of emergency communication.</p> |
