The present invention relates to the field of communications. Disclosed are a method, device, and system for routing function activation and data transmission. The present invention allows a single session task to be shared by multiple access points, thus ensuring data transmission quality. When a station uses an address recognizable by an external network to transmit data for a single session task via a first access point, the address of the CR connected to the first access point is determined; at least one second access point connected to the same CR as the first access point is determined; a CR activation request message is transmitted to the CR corresponding to the CR address respectively through the access points associated with the station CR; a CR activation feedback message returned by the CR and forwarded by the access points associated with the station CR is received, such that the station transmits different data packets of the single session task respectively via the first access point and the second access point. An embodiment of the present invention is mainly used for data transmission in a wireless network.
