The present teachings provide a system and a method for manufacturing a mobile platform, such as an aircraft. The method can include coupling at least one required system for operation of the mobile platform to the mobile platform, and certifying the mobile platform according to predefined standards. The method can also include coupling at least one optional system to the mobile platform without re-certifying the mobile platform. |
