The drive (2) has a motor (6) i.e. electric motor, received in a housing (4) and driving a shaft (8). The shaft transfers rotational torque (16) from the motor to a gearbox (12). A fan wheel (22) is connected with the shaft in a torque-proof manner. The fan wheel is located on the shaft such that forced convection (24) is produced by the gearbox. The fan wheel is designed as an axial fan wheel, a radial fan wheel or a diagonal fan wheel. The gearbox is designed as a worm gear or a spiral gear.
