A method for producing an anti-glare film, capable of widely and freely control a surface profile of the anti-glare film. The method including the steps of: coating a coating solution on at least one surface of a translucent base to form a coating layer; and curing the coating solution to form an anti-glare layer, wherein the coating solution contains a resin, particles, and a solvent, the method further includes the step of: shearing the coating solution coated on the translucent base, and a surface profile of the anti-glare film is adjusted by adjusting a shear distance of the coating layer, defined by the following equation (I) in the step of shearing, S=∫Vdt(I) V: shear velocity (m/s) t: shear holding time (s). |
