On a brush roller (A) of a floor care device with a rotating brush roller as a cylindrical rotational element, wherein the brush roller (A) as a hollow body is arranged by outwardly located inserted end pieces (4, 5) via bearings in a brush housing. In this regard it is provided to arrange in a spiral-shaped extending receiving shaft (2) in the outer circumferential surface area of the hollow body with an outwardly located through passage area for receiving and retaining a continuous brush strip (3). In that regard, a central segment (1) is embodied as a self-supporting hollow body of plastic, into which the outwardly located end pieces (4, 5) engage with a form-fitting connection, and the end pieces (4, 5) at least partially continue the receiving shaft (2). |
