The present invention relates to a method for unlocking a mobile terminal display, and a mobile terminal equipped with such a function. Proposed is a method for unlocking the mobile terminal display according to one embodiment of the present invention, which includes the following steps: an unlocking unit pre-setting step for pre-setting questions and answers of an educational content, which are to be used as a display unlocking unit, based on a user operation or a program; an unlocking request step for requesting unlocking the display, which is in a locked state, based on a user operation if the questions and answers of the educational content are set as an unlocking unit in the unlocking unit pre-setting step; an interfacing step for displaying a pre-stored question of educational content and receiving an answer to the question from a user according to an unlocking request in the unlocking request step; a determination step for determining whether the answer received in the interfacing step agrees or disagrees with a correct answer to the pre-stored question of the educational content; and an unlocking step for unlocking the display depending on a determination result of the determination step. Also proposed is a mobile terminal equipped with a display locking and unlocking functions.
