The operating device (16) has a main switch for switching the electronic apparatus (10), where the main switch comprises a switching device. An energy storage (22) is provided for supplying energy to the main switch in the switched-off state of the electronic apparatus. A control device detects the charging state of the energy storage. The control device is connected with the energy storage for energy supply in the switched-off state of the electronic apparatus. The control device turns-on the apparatus to charge the energy storage if the detected charging state of the energy storage falls below a predetermined limit. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a switching arrangement with a disconnector; and (2) a method for operating an electronic apparatus.
