The bus bar ring (100) has a current lug (110) that is arranged protrudingly on the ring portion in an axial direction. The current lug is electrically connected to the lead wires (112,114) by ultrasonic welding. Each lead wire is arranged at a joining region (120) over a longitudinal portion which is transverse to an extension plane of the ring portion. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing ultrasonic sealing connection of current lug and lead wires.
