PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of improving operations regarding to a cylinder with cam groove of a camera, reducing power consumption of the camera, making manufacture expenses of a die for molding the cylinder with cam groove and manufacturing the high precision cylinder with cam groove, and to provide a cylinder with cam groove by using the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of cylinder with cam groove, one or more times of trial molding are performed by using the die, the cylinder with cam groove is molded, thereafter, the copying measurement is performed in regard to a cam groove in the obtained cylinder with cam groove, the die is worked in accordance with data obtained as a result of the copying measurement and the desirable cylinder with cam groove can be obtained.
