<p>Producing an antibacterial layer on a base body made of titanium or a titanium-based alloy, comprises carrying out an electrochemical process in a first aqueous electrolyte, preferably at least two first aqueous electrolytes. The first aqueous electrolyte comprises an aqueous solution containing: silver(I) phosphate and ammonium hydroxide; gallium(III) nitrate, L-(+)-ascorbic acid and phosphoric acid; zinc(II) acetate, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and ammonium hydroxide; or bismuth oxide nitrate, bismuth salicylate, bismuth citrate, ammonium bismuth citrate and/or bismuth-triacetate. Producing an antibacterial layer on a base body made of titanium or a titanium-based alloy, comprises carrying out an electrochemical process in a first aqueous electrolyte, preferably at least two first aqueous electrolytes. The first aqueous electrolyte comprises an aqueous solution containing: silver(I) phosphate and ammonium hydroxide; gallium(III) nitrate, L-(+)-ascorbic acid and phosphoric acid; zinc(II) acetate, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and ammonium hydroxide; or bismuth oxide nitrate, bismuth salicylate, bismuth citrate, ammonium bismuth citrate, bismuth-triacetate, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and/or disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. An independent claim is also included for an implant, preferably osteo-synthetic implant or dental implant comprising the base body made of titanium or titanium-based alloy with an applied bactericidal layer.</p> |
