The battery has voltage-producing components that are arranged in a main housing (2). A joining surface (3) of main housing is connected with joining surface (4) of auxiliary housing by two-component methyl methacrylate adhesive portion. The main housing is made of metal or metal alloy and auxiliary housing is made of plastic material. An independent claim is included for a method for managing battery.
