<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing device excellent in versatility for a vehicle, in which attachment/detachment of an audio information providing means mounted on the vehicle at high rate is simplified, and which can be customized according to a user's preference. <P>SOLUTION: The information providing device 100 for a vehicle comprises at least a display part (a visual information providing means) 101 for displaying various conditions of the vehicle. The information providing device 100 further comprises a control means 202 for controlling the display part 101.
