A 3D image display device includes a 3D image display panel. A patterned retarder is formed on an entire surface of the 3D image display panel. 3D glasses include a lens. The lens includes an SG panel having liquid crystal molecules and a lambda/4 plate on an upper surface of the SG panel. The 3D image display panel and the 3D glasses are synchronized.
