The method involves using the profile data (PDa,PDb,PDc,PDN) to determine the infotainment and communication devices of the motor car (FZ) by a mobile communication terminal. The communication terminal is connected with a computing unit (RE) of the motor car. The user profile (NP) is stored with the profile data. The profile data of the user profile is transferred to the computing unit over an internet achievable server (CS). The infotainment and communication device is adjusted according to the transferred profile data of the user profile of mobile communication terminal.
