The present invention relates to a curve protective cover for duct insulation and, particularly, to a curve protected cover which presses insulation covering a pipeline onto an external surface of the pipeline so that the insulation are closely attached to the pipeline, thereby improving the thermal efficiency of insulation for the pipeline, and is installed by connecting metal pieces on a curved part when a metal protective cover is installed on an elbow-type curved pipeline so that metal pieces can be connected to each other by forming a flexible connecting part at the end of a connection part, thereby effectively utilizing a metal plate although the size of a metal piece slightly does not match, and connecting and fixing metal pieces smoothly along a curve. The curve protective cover which is made of a metal plate in order to protect insulation installed on an external surface of an elbow-type curved pipeline connected to a straight pipeline is formed by the following steps of: forming an outer elbow by dividing a metal plate into one part to three equal parts; forming one inner elbow; forming beading to connect outer elbow parts in a connection part and fastening a rivet into overlapped beading; inserting the outer elbow L=30mm into the inner elbow and forming beading in a connection part of the inner elbow and fastening a rivet onto the connection part to connect the outer elbow and the inner elbow; and installing and pressing double-sided tape or hook in the inner elbow, and fastening a rivet. |
