<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mask having a main body and an interior fitting, which is capable of fixing the interior fitting to the face tightly to prevent slipping and is capable of preventing crushing of the interior fitting by the main body. <P>SOLUTION: The mask comprises the main body 3 and the interior fitting 5 arranged inside of the main body 3 and forms a closed space with the face. The main body has a middle section that does not contact with the nose and the mouth and a marginal section whose circumference presses the face and surrounds the periphery of the nose and the mouth when worn on the face. The interior fitting has a protruding middle section distant from the nose and the mouth and substantially whole of the peripheral edge contacts the face directly to surround the periphery of the nose and the mouth.
