<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swimming aid capable of easily providing buoyancy and propulsion. <P>SOLUTION: This swimming aid is provided with an aid body 2 having the buoyancy and supporting the upper half body of a swimmer M. The aid body 2 is provided with a propulsion member 3 detachably and vertically swingably connected to its rear end part. The aid body 2 is provided with a retaining member 4 detachably retaining the upper half body of the swimmer M. The propulsion member 3 is formed into a fin shape extending left/right direction and front/rear direction.
