<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing a thick film with high quality on the surface of a lens base by immersion. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a plastic lens includes a coating step of coating a lens base 10 with a primer layer or a hard coat layer by an immersion system, wherein the coating step comprises a first step of forcibly stirring a coating liquid H, a second step of immersing the lens base 10 in the coating liquid H, a third step of stopping forced stirring of the coating liquid H, and a fourth step of, after at least about 20 seconds of stop time Ts, drawing up the lens base 10 from the coating liquid H. By setting the stop time Ts, the thickness of the film can be increased, which means that the viscosity of the coating liquid H can be decreased, the stirring amount on forced stirring can be increased, and thereby, the quality can be easily maintained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
