<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secure function-utilizing control unit with ease of use by a user for a mobile information terminal that employs a wireless communication IC, which enables communication for small distances so as to automate the authentication processing. <P>SOLUTION: The function utilizing control unit includes a means for reading an ID code stored in the wireless communication IC, carried by the user that starts a wireless communication IC reader at the opportunity, when an operation is applied to the mobile information terminal; and a means that collates the read ID code with an ID code, registered in advance, in the memory of the mobile information terminal and automatically executes a series of processings permitting utilization of the mobile information terminal, only when the ID codes match each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
