The suspension arm has two opposing profile walls and a bearing retainer for receiving a bearing, and is manufactured as a profile (12) in an extrusion process. The bearing retainer is formed by two aligned recesses in the opposing profile walls. The recesses are provided with an edge area, which forms a bearing receiving collar (28,30) that is wider than the wall thickness of the profile walls in the direction of the bearing axis (A). The suspension arm comprises a slot bearing, which is inserted into the bearing receiving collars. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a suspension arm. |
