<p>A pulp feeder capable of obtaining recycled paper of uniform texture, stable in the weight of the wet paper made on a mesh belt, in a very narrow used paper processing space of furniture size. A pulp feeding unit (pulp feeder) (15) includes a retention unit (113) disposed slidably on the upper side of an running mesh belt (105), for retaining a pulp suspension (PS) sent from a pulp manufacturing unit (2), and a paper making frame body (110) for defining the supply width (L) of the pulp suspension (PS) on the upper side of the mesh belt (105), in which the leading end position of this paper making frame body (110) is provided with an overflow unit (114) for keeping constant the water level (H) of the pulp suspension (PS) retained in the retention unit (113). The pulp suspension PS supplied in the retention unit (113) is retained to the water level (H) defined the overflow unit (114), and is uniformly dispersed and supplied on the upper side of the mesh belt (105) by cooperative action of this retention action and the running action of the mesh belt (105).
