<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain improvement in the quality of a moving image with simple circuit configuration. <P>SOLUTION: In accordance with a control signal input to a common circuit (R)310 and a common circuit (L)320 by a P picture control unit 340, image data in an arithmetic region are read from an external memory 350 and full search processing of image data is performed by the common circuit (R)310 and the common circuit (L)320. A minimum SAD (minimum differential sum), operated by the full search processing, output from the common circuit (R)310 and the common circuit (L)320, respectively is then compared with a motion vector and the motion vector is calculated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
