<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetoresistance effect element, a magnetic head, and a magnetic recorder/reproducer in which aging of MR variation rate due to conduction of sense current is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetoresistance effect element comprises a magnetization bonding layer, a magnetization free layer, a first insulation layer principally comprising an oxide, a nitride and an oxynitride containing at least one kind of element selected from a group of Al, Si, Mg, Ta, Zn and Ti provided between the magnetization bonding layer and the magnetization free layer, a nonmagnetic spacer layer including a first current path penetrating the first insulation layer in the layer direction, and a thin film insertion layer arranged on the side opposite to the side where the nonmagnetic spacer layer is formed for the magnetization free layer. The thin film insertion layer principally comprises an oxide, a nitride or an oxynitride containing at least one kind of element selected from a group of Al, Si, Mg, Ta, Zn and Ti. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
