<p>The device (1) has rod-shaped light guide elements (3.1-3.3) comprising multiple front sided light entry surfaces and lateral light exit surfaces. The guide elements are arranged parallel to each other, where cross sectional dimension of all the guide elements is smaller than cross sectional dimension of adjacent arranged guide elements. The length of the guide elements is smaller than length of adjacent guide elements, and distance of two adjacent guide elements is smaller than adjacent distance between the adjacent elements.
