<p>A social networking system (10) that allows video chatting in combination with other interactive social activities such as, for example, shopping, picture sharing and viewing streaming videos, amongst others, is disclosed. A method implemented in a computing infrastructure (12, 60) includes initiating a user session by generating a unique user ID and group ID for the user session. The method further includes streaming at least one of music and video to a plurality of users (60) on separate computing devices within the user session.
