A pizza machine comprises a storage system with a separation mechanism and a door, an opening mechanism for a pizza box, and pizza oven. The pizza box (1) for containing pizza comprises a top wall (2) and a bottom wall (3) being connected by at least four side walls (4). At least two of the four side walls (4) are at least partially inclined walls (5), wherein the two inclined walls (5) are located opposite of each other and comprise an inclination angle (A) between bottom wall (3) and inclined wall (5) of substantially less that 90°C, preferably substantially 80°, particularly preferably substantially 70°.
