<p>The method involves engaging a cutting blade (17) around a food product. The cutting blade is temporarily moved at a speed which is different than the speed of a primary movement (25). The cutting blade is moved counter to the primary movement while the food product stays in temporary engagement. The cutting blade is braked or accelerated while the food product is engaged. An independent claim is included for an apparatus for slicing of food products, particularly for components of stacks from individual food product slices.</p> |
